7 Tips for Safer Web Browsing

Surfing the web can be hazardous for your PC’s health. Help protect your PC and your data by following these useful safe browsing tips.

1. Use Proven Anti-Malware Tools. Make sure you have working and updated Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware tools running on your PC. Right now I prefer AVG Free Edition as it provides Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware protection. It also has a feature that warns you about web sites containing malware so that you can avoid them. 2. Surf Using Firefox. Firefox includes strict anti-phishing and anti-malware measures. In addition, there are several plug-ins that help beef-up security.
