Britney Spears is not the most search in Yahoo! anymore..

For the past four years(2005, 2006, 2007, 2008) Britney Spears reigns the Yahoo!’s #1 search topic. But sadly her popularity goes down as the year goes by..

2009 Top 10 Most search in Yahoo!

1. Michael Jackson – No surprise here, what with a massively publicized death and a huge movie that followed shortly after. Didn’t have the chance to see that movie “This is it” will download it in torrent though, maybe this weekend.

2. Twilight – Hardly shocking. To all the twilight movie fanatics out there… No Offense, but the movie seems boring to me.. I sleep in my couch watching the 1st movie.. Hahahaha

3. WWE – Apparently people are still into wrestling. RIP Captain Lou.

4. Megan Fox – More than meets the eye? I seriously doubt the fading star of Miss Fox will manage to crack the top 10 come next year, but then there’s….

5. Britney Spears – Like a bad rash, you simply cannot get rid of Britney, though at least she’s finally a bit on the downswing after spending four straight years as Yahoo!’s #1 search topic.

6. Naruto – Something about ninjas.. One of my favorite Anime of all time….

7. American Idol – Singing idols, competing against each other.

8. Kim Kardashian – A shockingly high perch for Kim Kardashian. I mean seriously, what are Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie? Chopped liver?

9. NASCAR – As long as there’s oil, these guys will still be driving cars in circles and people will be searching for information about them.

10. Runescape – The free online RPG continues its reign as a hot search topic. What about World of Warcraft?

As usual, Yahoo! searchers are obsessed with celebrities, although only one dead one made the big list, tragically forgetting some of the others that have passed on: Farrah Fawcett, Billy Mays, Patrick Swayze, Ted Kennedy, and Jon & Kate Gosselin.
